Disclaimer
This disclaimer applies to the Rehearse Space website and related materials. Effective date: August 11, 2026.
You must use Rehearse Space only in compliance with applicable copyright law and any other applicable laws governing the material you access, upload, share, rehearse, store, or use through the service. If your intended use is not lawful, do not proceed.
Song sheets, chord charts, lyrics, notes, arrangements, audio attachments, and other materials available through the service may be user-created or user-supplied. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights, permissions, licenses, and approvals for any material you use, upload, distribute, display, perform, copy, or share.
This includes MP3s, audio files, backing tracks, stems, recordings, and other sound recordings uploaded to or used through the service. If you upload or share audio content without the rights or licenses required by law, you and not Rehearse Space will be solely responsible and liable for any resulting infringement claims, damages, losses, or expenses.
Rehearse Space is not responsible for obtaining public performance, streaming, reproduction, synchronization, mechanical, or other rights on your behalf. You must contact the relevant copyright owner, publisher, licensing agency, label, or rights administrator to obtain any required permissions for your use.
To use this website, you agree not to sell, resell, republish, exploit, harvest, or copy materials from the service for commercial purposes except as expressly permitted by law or by the applicable rights holder. Unauthorized copying or redistribution may violate copyright law and other laws.
If you rely on fair use, educational use, church licensing, or any other legal exception or license, you are solely responsible for determining whether your use qualifies. If your use goes beyond what the law or your license permits, you must obtain permission from the copyright owner before proceeding.
Bottom line: follow the law, protect your organization and yourself, and use the service with integrity.
Rehearse Space Website Agreement
The Rehearse Space website and related services are provided subject to your compliance with the terms and conditions set forth below. By accessing or using the site, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not wish to be bound by them, do not access or use the site.
We may modify this agreement at any time, and modifications become effective immediately upon posting. You agree to review this agreement periodically, and your continued access or use of the site constitutes acceptance of the modified agreement.
1. Copyright, licenses, and submissions
The contents of the site are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. The copyrights and trademarks in the site and its materials are owned by, licensed to, or otherwise used with permission by Rehearse Space or third parties. You may not modify, copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit, or distribute site materials except as expressly permitted.
You may print or download limited portions of material for your own lawful, non-commercial use, provided that you do not remove copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices.
If you submit materials, ideas, suggestions, feedback, or other content to public areas of the site or to us directly, you grant Rehearse Space a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual license to use, reproduce, distribute, transmit, create derivative works from, publicly display, and publicly perform that content in connection with operating and promoting the service, subject to applicable law and our policies.
You also grant us the right to use the name you submit in connection with such materials, to the extent permitted by law. You agree that you shall have no recourse against Rehearse Space for any alleged or actual infringement or misappropriation relating to your own submissions.
Trademarks
Publications, products, content, service names, and logos referenced on the site may be trademarks or service marks of Rehearse Space or their respective owners. Other product and company names mentioned on the site may be the trademarks of their respective owners.
2. Use of the site
You understand that, except for information, products, or services clearly identified as being supplied by Rehearse Space, we do not operate, control, or endorse third-party information, products, or services made available on the Internet or through linked resources.
You also understand that we cannot and do not guarantee that files available for download through the site will be free from viruses, malware, or other harmful code. You are responsible for implementing sufficient procedures and safeguards to protect your systems and data.
You assume total responsibility and risk for your use of the site and the Internet. The site and related information are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of title, noninfringement, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
No oral or written information, support, guidance, or advice provided by Rehearse Spacecreates any warranty unless we have expressly stated it in writing.
We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the site or the servers that make it available are free from harmful components. You are solely responsible for evaluating the accuracy, completeness, and usefulness of any information, opinions, advice, services, or materials provided through the service.
You use the service at your own discretion and risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for damage to your devices, systems, software, or loss of data arising from or related to your use of the service.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rehearse Space shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including damages for loss of profits, business interruption, loss of data, or similar losses, arising out of or relating to the use of or inability to use the service, any information provided through the service, or any delay, error, omission, or inaccuracy in the service or related materials.
Because some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, portions of this limitation may not apply to you. In such jurisdictions, our liability will be limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
We make no representations about any other website that you may access through this one or that may link to this site. When you access a non-Rehearse Space website, please understand that it is independent from us and that we have no control over its content, operations, or practices. A link to another website does not mean that we endorse or accept responsibility for that website or its use.
3. User contributions
You agree not to upload, post, transmit, share, or otherwise make available any material that is false, defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, hateful, harassing, obscene, threatening, invasive of privacy, unlawful, or otherwise objectionable. You also agree not to post any copyrighted material unless you own the copyright or have written authorization from the copyright owner or are otherwise legally permitted to do so.
We do not actively monitor all user contributions and cannot confirm the validity, accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of every submission. User contributions express the views of their authors and not necessarily the views of Rehearse Space, its staff, affiliates, or owners.
You remain solely responsible for the content of your contributions. We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to remove content we determine to be objectionable or inappropriate within a reasonable time frame.
4. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Rehearse Space, its owners, officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, suppliers, and service providers from and against all losses, expenses, damages, liabilities, and costs, including reasonable attorneys' fees, resulting from any violation of this agreement or any negligent or wrongful conduct by you or any other person accessing the service through your account or device.
5. Third-party rights
The provisions relating to use of the service, limitation of liability, and indemnification are for the benefit of Rehearse Space and its owners, officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, suppliers, and service providers. Each of these persons or entities has the right to assert and enforce those provisions directly against you on its own behalf.
6. Term and termination
This agreement may be terminated by either party at any time for any reason. The provisions relating to copyright, licenses, submissions, use of the service, limitation of liability, indemnification, and miscellaneous matters shall survive termination to the extent permitted by law.
7. Miscellaneous
This agreement shall be governed and construed in accordance with applicable laws of the United States of America, without regard to conflict of law principles, except where otherwise required by law. Any legal action or proceeding relating to this agreement or the service shall be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in the United States, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Any cause of action or claim you may have with respect to the service must be commenced within one year after the claim or cause of action arises, unless a longer period is required by law. Our failure to insist upon or enforce strict performance of any provision of this agreement shall not be construed as a waiver of any provision or right. We may assign our rights and duties under this agreement at any time without notice to you.
